SA secures Women's Australian Open at Kooyonga for three years
South Australia has regained the hosting rights to the Women’s Australian Open, to be held at Kooyonga Golf Club in Lockleys from 12–15 March 2026—and through at least 2028. Opposition parties have raised concerns over bypassing planning, heritage and environmental processes via expedited legislation. Golf Australia praised the move as a boost for women’s golf locally and internationally.
