Northwood New South Wales golf community hub Lane Cove Golf Club opened in 1964 on the public nine-hole course at 180 River Road, Northwood. Founded by local enthusiasts in the late 1950s, it features tree-lined fairways through remnant bushland and two alternate greens and tees to make an 18-hole experience. Signature water hazards on holes 3 and 8 showcase the council’s storm-water harvesting design. The club hosts weekly competitions for men, women and juniors and works closely with the Lane Cove Bushland & Conservation Society to protect native fauna corridors. Facilities include a pro shop, club and cart hire, practice greens, bar, restaurant and ample parking. Join or book your next round via Quick18.
