About
In 1937, members of Brighton Golf Club sought to establish their own course on the Melbourne Sandbelt. Southern Golf Club opened its Sam Beriman-designed layout in Keysborough in 1949. Local architects have since refined the course, enhancing its strategic bunkering and quick bent-grass greens while maintaining its welcoming reputation. As a former Australian PGA Tour venue, Southern Golf Club continues to offer a beautifully conditioned challenge just south-east of Melbourne, attracting golfers with its engaging layout and rich history.
