Strathfield New South Wales golf parkland Strathfield Golf Club was established in October 1931 on Freshwater Park, Centenary Drive, and incorporated in 1934. Originally a nine‐hole layout, it was transformed into a championship 18‐hole par 71 course by Jim Wilcher in 2016–18, weaving the Cooks River through six fairway crossings and three hazard carries. The club’s modern clubhouse—3rd place in Golf Inc Magazine’s 2019 world awards—hosts bar, restaurant, conference and function facilities. Member and guest services include a pro shop, pull-and powered-cart hire, driving range, practice greens, chipping area, locker rooms and showers.
